Prep roundup: Mt. Spokane softball collects 36 hits; Emma Laughlin drives in six runs for Gonzaga Prep

Mt. Spokane 27, Deer Park 3 (5): Avery Fox recorded a cycle with five RBIs and the visiting Wildcats (5-0, 3-0) defeated the Stags (2-4, 1-2). Mt. Spokane’s offense collected 36 hits, 26 RBIs with 51 at bats. Emme Bond and Ivy Westermann each hit a home run for Mt. Spokane. Kapri Bailey hit a home run for Deer Park.
Ridgeline 24, Rogers 9 (5): Ava Nevills hit a 3-run home run and the visiting Falcons (5-1, 2-1) defeated the Pirates (1-4, 1-2). Ada Case and Quincy Coder each hit a pair of doubles for Ridgeline. Taylor Hoffman finished 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs for Rogers.
Gonzaga Prep 22, North Central 12 (5): Emma Laughlin drove in six runs on three hits and the Bullpups (1-4, 1-1) defeated the visiting Wolfpack (0-6, 0-2). Zoe Nowaski knocked in three runs for North Central.
Ferris 14. East Valley 12: Ava DeLeon hit a 2-run homer and the Saxons (4-1, 2-1) beat the visiting Knights (2-3, 2-1). JC Weger went 4 for 4 with a home run for East Valley. EV scored five runs in the 7th inning but that wasn’t enough.
Shadle Park 10, Cheney 0 (5): Laniya Mawdsley hit a home run and the Highlanders (3-3, 1-2) shut out the visiting Blackhawks (1-5, 0-3). Bethany Rinas led Shadle Park with three hits.
Central Valley 9, Lewis and Clark 2: Ella Bendele finished 3 for 4 with a triple and double and the Bears (5-2, 2-1) beat the visiting Tigers (2-3, 1-2). Isabella Heister, Vienna Klein and Anneliese McCollum had two hits apiece for Lewis and Clark.
University 12, Mead 9: Hayden Wheeler collected three hits on four at bats and the visiting Titans (4-1, 3-0) defeated the Panthers (4-1, 2-1). Mia Martin hit a 3-run home run for Mead to take the early lead.

Shadle Park 2, Riverside 0: Piper Smith scored in the opening minutes of the second half and Madison Claar added a goal in the 61st minute off an assist from Lucy Hicks as the visiting Highlanders (2-2) beat the Rams (2-2). Amelia Carroll blocked 20 shots on the net for Riverside.
Gonzaga Prep 3, Cheney 1: Kaiya Weiler scored first on an assist from Jolina Olson and the Bullpups (1-3) defeated the visiting Blackhawks (2-1). Kaycee Curley scored for Cheney.
Lakeside 8, Rogers 0: Lainee Higgins scored twice and dished out an assist as the Eagles (1-2-1) beat the visiting Pirates (1-3). Addi Heffernan and Izzy Delzer scored two goals apiece for Lakeside
Newport 7, Priest River 1: Delaney Brandtner and Amey Ives scored twice and the Grizzlies (1-1) beat the visiting Spartans (0-7). Macie Olmo scored for Priest River.

West Valley 7, East Valley 0: Kyia Silva scored three goals and dished out an assist as the Eagles (4-0, 1-0) shut out the visiting Knights (2-2, 0-1). Haylee Kelly scored and had three assists for West Valley.
North Central 1, Clarkston 0: Kate Turnbull scored in the 53rd minute on an assist from Audrey Bartlett for the game’s only goal as the Wolfpack (2-3, 2-0) beat the visiting Bantams (1-2, 0-1). Lily Somers had eight saves for Clarkston.
Pullman 3, Deer Park 1: Andrea Wu scored at the 5-minute mark on a penalty kick and the Greyhounds (2-1-1, 1-0) scored twice more in the first half and defeated the visiting Stags (1-2, 0-1). Avery Mitchell scored late in the second half for Deer Park.

Freeman 11, Reardan 0: Rylee Russell scored four goals and gave out two assists as the visiting Scotties (3-0, 2-0) shut out the Screaming Eagles (0-2, 0-1) in a Northeast 2B game Freeman has a 24-game winning streak dating back to the beginning of last season.
Northwest Christian 8, Kettle Falls 0: The visiting Crusaders (4-0, 2-0) shut out the Bulldogs (0-3-1, 0-1) in a Northeast 2B North game on Tuesday.

Mead 3, Freeman 1: Zuri Gonzales dished out 34 assists and the Panthers (2-1) defeated the visiting Scotties (2-1). Avery Berglund had 11 kills for Freeman.
Gonzaga Prep 3, Lewis and Clark 0: Noella Migliuri had 19 assists, three aces, and nine digs as the Bullpups (3-0) beat the visiting Tigers (0-3).
Mt. Spokane 3, Central Valley 0: Delaney Davis had seven kills and three aces as the Wildcats (4-0) defeated the Bears (0-3). Lydia Daines collected 18 assists and had an ace for CV.
Shadle Park 3, Ferris 2: Teagan Schroder had 19 kills, Chloe Hampton added 37 assists and four aces, and the Highlanders (2-3) won three-straight sets after losing the first two as they beat the visiting Saxons (0-3). KJ Jacobson had seven aces and 36 assists for Ferris.
Cheney 3, Lakeside 2: The Blackhawks (4-1) beat the visiting Eagles (4-1).
Curlew 3, Oroville 0: The visiting Cougars (1-1) defeated the Tigers (1-2).

Clarkston 3, North Central 0: Jordan Cassetto had nine kills and two blocks and the visiting Bantams (2-2, 1-1) defeated the Wolfpack (0-4, 0-1). Selah Gadda led North Central in assists and aces.
Pullman 3, West Valley 2: Camber Wolfe had 42 assists and three aces as the visiting Greyhounds (3-0, 1-0) beat the Eagles (2-1, 0-1) in five sets. Hailey Colyar had 14 kills and three blocks for West Valley.

Davenport 3, St. George’s 0: Naomi Rainwater had 19 kills, Astraya Sosa added 17 assists and an ace, and the Gorilla’s (3-2, 3-0) swept the visiting Dragons (4-1, 1-1).
