Nehemiah has a 4.51 GPA and is the son/daughter of Lex and Michelle Areta. Nehemiah is a member of National Honors Society, DECA, Captain’s Council, and is Dually-Enrolled at Gonzaga University.
Nehemiah has earned 7 varsity letters; 3 in football and 4 in track and field. First-team All-GSL football senior year, second-team junior year, team captain, three-year starter, three-year undefeated GSL champion. Team captain, Multiple league and district placings all four years in shot put and discus, Team MVP junior year.
Nehemiah volunteers at Immanuel Church as a Sunday School teacher, Second Harvest to provide food to the community, and Gonzaga Prep as a youth football camp coach and Calculus/Physics tutor.
Nehemiah will attend University of Notre Dame on academic scholarship to study electrical engineering. He also plans to walk on for track and field.
