Jalisca Holmgren has a 3.834 GPA and is the daughter of Melinda Fraughton Holmgren and Mark Holmgren. Jalisca has taken 10 honors courses and 11 college courses, while also participating in several school activities, including FBLA and National Honor Society. Jalisca has earned 4 varsity letters in girls wrestling. She has been a state qualifier all four years and is a 2-time District Champion, a 2-time WIAA Mat Classic placer, a 4-time First Team All-GSL selection, and a GSL MVP. She was also an FBLA State Placer. Jalisca made history as the first girl at Cheney High School to complete four seasons of wrestling and was part of the team that won a GSL League Title for the first time in GSL history. Jalisca plans to continue her wrestling career at the collegiate level.
