Brigid Dinnen
Scholar Athlete
Brigid has a 4.0 GPA and is the daughter of Kevin and Chasity Dinnen. Brigid is the Vice President of the East Valley Senior class of icers.
Brigid earned 5 varsity letters; 4 in girls Swim and Dive, and 1 in Cheer. In Swim, Brigid acquired 6 state championship titles, 8 district championship titles, made GSL first-team 4 times, received numerous “swimmer of meet” and high point awards, she was nominated as the WIAA athlete of the week twice, and was also recognized as the SWX athlete of the week and Providence athlete of the week.
Brigid volunteered at the Ronald Mcdonald House of Charities in Downtown Spokane. Where a large group of teens come together to help families feel like they have a comfortable home away from home while they manage the hardship of having a child in the hospital. Brigid attended monthly meetings, volunteered around the house and was a top fundraiser supporting the charity.
Brigid will attend the University of Idaho where she was awarded a scholarship to continue her career in swimming. She will study pre-physical therapy in hopes to work in the sports medicine field.
