Ari Everitt

Ari represented Gonzaga Prep on the national stage at the National Speech & Debate Tournament in Washington D.C. this past weekend. Competing in Public Forum Debate against some of the best teams in the country on the topic, “Resolved: African countries should prioritize industrial development over international debt repayment,” Ari had an incredible Day 1 performance, winning 4 of her 5 rounds with four separate 2-1 decisions. Her outstanding tournament run resulted in a 17th-place overall finish, making her the highest-scoring Gonzaga Prep debater at a national tournament in the last decade.
